Adjacent to the Forest Room is a 1,200-square-foot open field overlooking the orchard – a quiet, spacious spot that automatically draws attention to what’s in the middle of it. What a wedding day at Y\u016bgen Forest looks like<\/h2>\n\n

The day begins outside. Arriving at a site that is already ready, without looking like it. Nature does the work. <\/p>\n\n

The ceremony often takes place in the open field in front of the Forest Room, or among the trees or under the Leaning Linden. No stage, no theatrical decor. Well: light falling through the leaves, the smell of the earth, faces in the front row that you’ve known for years. <\/p>\n\n

Next: food. Honest food, homegrown, prepared by Y\u016bgen Forest’s chefs. From the market garden to the table, at long set tables in the greenery. No wholesale catering, no standard menu. Own catering or self-cooking is not possible, nor is it necessary. <\/p>\n\n

The evening does not end abruptly. An acoustic band playing as it gets dark, or great dancing with a silent disco. Drinks and blankets around the campfire by the pizza oven. Can we get officially married here?<\/strong><\/td>Yes. Y\u016bgen Forest can be designated as a wedding venue by the Dronten Municipality on a wedding-by-wedding basis. This has been running smoothly for many years. We will arrange the designation for you through the proper municipal procedure. <\/td><\/tr>
How many guests will fit?<\/strong><\/td>Depending on location. The Boskamer and Greenhouse can accommodate groups up to 120 people standing, up to 80 at the table. Slot Roggebot is more intimate with room for up to 40 guests. The ceremony field at the Boskamer is 1,200 m\u00b2 and allows for large groups outside. <\/td><\/tr>
Is amplified music possible?<\/strong><\/td>No, amplified music does not suit the place and atmosphere. However, an acoustic band is possible. <\/td><\/tr>
